With a love for pottery, a passion for cooking, and a heart that beats for travel, I've embarked on incredible journeys, both across the world and in the kitchen. My career began in the travel industry, where I worked for a major airline, granting me firsthand experience in the world of hospitality and great service.
Cycling is another love of mine, and I've pedaled across picturesque landscapes around the world. My thirst for adventure doesn't stop there, as I'm eagerly preparing for an exciting cycle trip through India.
As a seasoned traveler, I've explored the globe both as a solo adventurer and with my very own little ones in tow. This experience has given me insight into the unique needs of families and the importance of stress-free getaways.
When I opened the doors to Winterstoke View, I had a vision. I wanted to create a space that caters to families and transforms into a more grown-up environment when the children are tucked up in bed. Here, you can indulge in great cooking, enjoy socialising, and even try your hand at cocktail making. Our well-designed kitchen, complete with two full-size dishwashers and ovens, makes every culinary adventure a breeze. I believe it's the small things that can make a significant difference.
Winterstoke View has been our family home, a place of cherished memories filled with laughter and mischief. We want others to experience the joy and countless wonderful aspects of this lovely area. Graham - My Dad
A retired businessman and former commercial pilot, dad has transitioned his early career skills as a carpenter to shape the heart of our garden. He's the creative mind and skilled hands behind the built-in seating, handcrafted solid hardwood tables, and the magnificent pergola that together form the cornerstone of our exceptional garden.
Beyond his craftsmanship, dad is the person we rely on for any emergency call-outs, ensuring that our guests enjoy a worry-free stay.
Whilst he may occasionally protest about having to work at, although secretly he loves it and is incredibly proud of what we've achieved here at Winterstoke View.
Dad gets great pleasure from seeing how much joy his efforts bring to our guests and how it contributes to making their stay special. He embodies the essence of Winterstoke View, where every detail is considered to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Abi - My Daughter
As a regular and passionate member of our team, Abi brings her unique skills and enthusiasm to ensure your stay is exceptional. When she's not busy tinkering with her car, she's dedicated to providing outstanding service to our guests. Abi's love for animals shines through as she takes care of our four-legged guests when needed, offering dog-sitting services and making sure they feel right at home.
But her role extends beyond that. Abi is also one of our trusted babysitters, offering parents a chance to enjoy a worry-free evening while she looks after the little ones. She will often liaise with you during your stay, ensuring that you have everything they need and that your experience at Winterstoke View is nothing short of delightful.
Additionally, Abi is part of our guest presentation team, working alongside Lenka to prepare for your arrival. Her dedication to making your visit special is a testament to the warm welcome we strive to create at Winterstoke View.
Lenka - Guest Presentation
Lenka is a driving force behind the exceptional stays you can expect at Winterstoke View.
Lenka's dedication and consistent pursuit of excellence permeate every aspect of our home. When not indulging her irrational love of Tottenham Hotspur, you may spot her working diligently in the garage, affectionately known as "Lenka's office," where she meticulously manages laundry, coordinates the cleaning team, and prepares for our next guests.
Lenka's unwavering attention to detail and dedication to providing the best possible guest experience radiate through her work. Her warm and welcoming nature, always accompanied by a friendly smile and a wave, embodies the essence of Winterstoke View. We go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as close to perfection as possible.

Anthony - Gardener
Behind the scenes at Winterstoke View, you'll find Anthony, our green-thumbed maestro dedicated to nurturing our beautiful garden. Anthony's passion for plants is the driving force behind our garden's subtle colors and inviting textures. He understands the importance of a garden that's not just visually pleasing but also functional, a place where you can kick a football without worry.
What truly sets Anthony and the Ayres Gardens team apart, is their commitment to nature and wildlife. Initiatives like "No Mow May" in parts of the garden create safe havens for small creatures to thrive peacefully.
When Anthony is not at Winterstoke View, he is an enthusiastic surfer, finding exhilaration and serenity on the open water. He embraces the great outdoors, often embarking on adventures in his trusty camper van. Anthony's warm demeanour, quiet disposition, and dedication to preserving our natural world makes him a welcome part of our Winterstoke View team.
